Yes, I do recommend this funny book to others because it is very cool. The setting is in a Mansion and the Ikkihaski Jungle. There are six characters. They are mom, dad, Evangeline Mudd, Melvin, Magdelaina, and a Scientist. The problem in the story is Evangeline Mudd is stuck in a place she thought would be fun. Is it a really fun place to be? I'll let you answer that. One interesting thing about the story is there are spitting spiders. Will there be a second book? We will find out. I'll update you.

By Amelia

Gooseberry Park

This book is sad and happy. This book is for intermediate readers. It's fun to read, cool, and short. It has only nineteen chapters and it has some funny parts in it. I recommend this book to you boys/girls to read because you will get into it really easily and it's a happy and sad book. The setting is in Gooseberry Park and in Professor Albert's house. The characters are Stumply, Kona, Top, Bottom, Sparrow, Murray, and Gwendolyn, but you can call her Gwen for short. The problem is that Kona went looking for Stumpy and Stumpy went looking for Kona and now Stumpy is missing because he went looking for Kona. Here are some interesting facts and things about this book. Murray gets interesting and sensitive. Everyone is nice in the book. Even they are all helpful in the book. Murray is careful in the book. If you want to read all about this go in the library and sit down at a table and read it, or buy it from the library and take it home and read it.

By Niko

Gooseberry Park

I just got done reading, Gooseberry Park, by Cynthia Rylant. The characters of the story are Kona, Gwendolyn, Professor Albert, Murray, Stumpy, Top, Bottom, and Sparrow. The problem is that Stumy's missing. An interesting fact is Top, Bottom, and Sparrow, are with a bat. The characters are Ramona, Yard Ape, Mrs. and Mr. Quimby, and Beezus. The problem is the car is broken. Yard Ape takes Ramona's eraser on the bus.

By Erika

<category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='R.L. This book is very interesting, and weird. Casey and Margret's dad was fired from his job at an experiment lab. He was studying plants but then he actually blew up a tree. So Casey and Margret started to search for their real dad in their house. Casey and Margret's friends come over and they got locked in the basement and their father can't hear their friends but then the plant gets their friends while their dad was experimenting down stairs. After that, spooky things start to happen at night. What will happen next? I think this book is bunny and it's a mystery. The setting in this story is the Ikkinasti Jungle and Evangeline Mudd's house. I would recommend this book to others because it's funny and it's really interesting. All the characters in the book are Evaneline Mudd, her mom, dad, Dr. Piikaftea, and Rexi. The problem in the story is that her parents are missing in the Ikkinasti Jungle. Oh, I also forgot about the little golden-haired ape named Pansy. There's also spitting spiders, butterflies, and worms that can eat fabric. So please, please, please, read, Evangeline Mudd and the Golden-Haired Apes of the Ikkinasti Jungle!

By Kiarra

<category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='E.B. Some parts are funny, some are boring, but other than that it's a good book. I'd recommend this book because I think some people might enjoy it. The setting is at the house. Stine. I think it's scary. I think other people should read it because it's a fun book to read. The setting is Margaret and Casey's house. The characters are Margaret, Casey, Diane, Mrs. Brewer and Dr. Brewer. There is a big problem in the story. It is that Dr. Brewer is making plants in the basement and Dr. Brewer made them to move and breathe. Something interesting is that Dr. Brewer got cloned with a plant. I hope you like this book.

By Jose R

Evangeline Mudd

The title of this book is, Evangeline Mudd and the Golden Haired Apes of the Inkkanasti Jungle. Here is the author: David Elliott. These are two words that describe the book: crazy and weird. Here is why I would recommend this book to authors: because it is awesome. Here is where the setting is: at her house and the Inkkanasti jungle. The characters are her dad, her mom, Evangeline Mudd, the professor, and Rexi. Here is the problem: Evangeline's parents are missing. Other interesting things about this book are Evangeline is crazy, Rexi is selfish, and the professor is helpful.

By Marco

<category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='E.B. The setting is monstly at school. The characters are Ramona, Bezus, father and the teacher. The problem is Ramona's parents are warned about the grade Ramona's going to get at school. Also, some people like dogs that don't chase after squirrels. So Kona doesn't, so people might like that. People might also like her because she is very very caring. I recommend this book to others because it is really interesting. Chapter by chapter it gets really interesting. The setting is at were the swan plays the trumpet and at some lakes that they move to. The characters are Louis' wife, his kids, and Sam. Someone shot the swan for no wild reason. Some interesting things about the book are that they move to other lakes, and that there are people liking the trumpet of the swan. You should read this book because it sometimes says funny stuff and sad stuff. It is also interesting because it is very fun for a third grader, so read this book.

By Cristina

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://alsupbookgroups.blogspot.com/2009/05/trumpet-of-swan-by-eb-white.html' title='The Trumpet of the Swan by E.B. The characters in the story are Casey, Margarette, Mr. Brewer, Mrs. Brewer, and Diane. The problem in the story is Dad stays in the basement. Other, interesting things about this book are that at the end the real Dad chops the fake Dad in half. Stine. I think it is a boring book and you should not read it. No you should not read Goosebumps because it is not interesting and there's no excitement in the book. The setting is at a house and in a basement. The characters are Casey, Margarette, Mom, Dad, and Fake Plant Dad. The problem in the story is that there is a plant that wants to take the Dad's place. Last, there is a real plant acting like a real human. I don't want to ruin it for you but here is the setting: it is the pond, Philadelphia, and camp Kookooskoos. If you like swans who can play the trumpet I would recommend this book to you.

By Litzy

Ramona Quimby, Age 8

I just read Ramona Quimby, Age 8 by Beverly Cleary. I think this book is funny, messy, and lazy. I recommend this book to others because whoever has a messy room would like this. The setting of the story takes place in a garden and in the little boy's room. In the story the characters are Mom, Dad, and the little boy. The problem in the story is that the little boy doesn't want to clean his room. Another fact is that he can't find his mitt. So you should read this book because it's funny.

By Jose

If You Give a Pig a Pancake

I just finished reading, If You Give a Pig a Pancake, by Laura Numeroff. The setting takes place outside. The characters are the little Indian boy and the Mud Pony. Some other interesting things about this book are it is a very nice book.

By Kyla

The Littles go to School

I just finished reading, The Littles go to School, by John Peterson. I think this book is funny, sad, and a very good book. I recommend this book to others because it is a very good book. This story takes place in a boy named Henry's room. The characters are Tom, Lucy, Mr. Little, Mrs. Little, Uncle Pete, Uncle Nick, Grandpa, Dellea, and Dinky. The problem in this story is that Lucy doesn't want to go to school. Something I thought was interesting in this book is the Little's are little and live in walls. The main problem is that Miss Nelson left school and had a substitute who was the principal and then they had a mean little witch as a substitute. Miss Nelson's kids said that the principal was no fun at all. Miss Nelson went home because she didn't feel good and the substitute took the kids to the movies and to get ice cream. This older boy said that Miss Swamp is the meanest substitute. At the end of the book Miss Nelson came back to teach her class. Also, Miss Nelson's kids were very proud because Miss Nelson came back. That's what happened in the story called, Miss Nelson is Back! I recommend this book to people because it will help you know what a substitute is like or just like a teacher.

by Alyssa

The Adventures of Captain Underpants

Do you want to read my book? Well it is called, The Adventures of Captain Underpants, by Dav Pilkey. It is about two boys named George and Harold that do pranks and jokes to other people. The problem is that they have a mean principal named Mr. Krupp and he hates George and Harold and other things that kids like. Also, every person in the whole entire world thinks that he is the meanest teacher or principal in the planets, even Pluto, ha ha ha ha ha very funny ha ha ha ha ha ha ha that was one of my jokes. Other interesting things about this book is that it is full of adventure and it tells more action.

By Julian

The Dragons of Blueland

I just read a good book about the Dragons of Blueland. The characters in Ralph S. Mouse are Ralph, Ryan, Ms. K., and Brad. The problem in this book is that Brad pushed Ryan and Ryan fell on Ralph's motorcycle. Some interesting things in Ralph S. Mouse is that Ralph lives at school and never goes home. Two more interesting things in this book are that when Ralph gets caught he is a famous little mouse and that Ralph gets put in a fish bowl or a black boot.
